Welcome to our upstairs bathroom.
old bathtub This was how the bathtub was when we bought the house. Makes you want to jump right in and relax, doesn't it?! old bathroom sink And this was the sink and the fake plastic tile. If you are interested in the built-in vanity, let me know...it's in the basement.
melis tearing out carpet No, Melis is not trying to grunt...She's helping us take the tile off the wall and remove the urine-smelling carpet! bringing in the tub Doug and Dad and Me after getting the new tub up the stairs!
the tub in place Our new tub in place! Boy does it feel good after a hard day of work! That would be work on the house, as my job is not that labor-intensive. a new look Here's a better view as the room nears completion. The tub and walls will be tiled yet, and the sink will go in.
waterfall This picture shows how the water comes out like a waterfall. It's really cool. view of skylight And here's a picture of the ceiling with the skylight. If you can get your bearings on what the picture is, it might make sense.
hole in street This shows the hole that had to be made in our street and next to our sidewalk to put in new water service. This was one of those unexpected expenses that had to be done because there wasn't enough water pressure to make it upstairs. view from outside And this view shows from the outside of the house the size of the window we took out and the much smaller, cooler looking window we put in. To compensate for the loss of light, we added a skylight as well! It was hard to get a decent picture of that though.
