Long known as the handprint room to us, this room had 5 layers of wallpaper, and a layer or two of paint when we bought the house. Come to find out, one of Abbey's coworkers helped put some of the handprints up as she had known the previous occupants. |
We initially took the 5 layers of wallpaper down, and then the room became a place to store things for a number of months. |
With a little TLC, this became our guest bedroom... |
...and Abbey's "office". |

And here it is in transformation again to become the nursery! Abbey's sister Becky did the wonderful job painting all the trim in here! |
So here's how it turned out! We just got the decorations up, so we don't have any pictures of that developed yet, but check back soon! You probably can't tell, but the carpet is a light tan. |
On top of the dresser to the left is a really neat waterfall and to the right is a nightlight. It's so cute!! |
Here's the crib. I'll have another picture soon showing the sheets, quilt, and ruffle that Grams made for us! |
Here is the changing table. You can also see the clock from Grandma and Grandpa Payne. The window valence was made by Aunt Becky. |
